Pupils from Etherley Lane enjoyed Geography, History, English and Forest School.
Today we welcomed Year 5 pupils from Etherley Lane, St Andrew's, Oakley Cross and Woodhouse Primary schools to King James.
Youngsters took part in a range of fun learning activities in Geography, History, English, French, Science, Art, Maths and ICT, and they also visited our Forest School to get involved in gardening.
As part of their experience, pupils were given a tour the school, led by their allocated Sixth Former guide; they also ate a hot or cold lunch of their choice in the Dining Hall before being treated to ice lollies to help them cool down in the sunshine!
Throughout this week and next we will welcome students from many other school including Cockton Hill, Prince Bishop's, Copeland Road, Toft Hill, Kirk Merrington, Timothy Hackworth, St Helen's, Victoria Lane Academy, Thornhill, Escomb, St Anne's, Hunwick, St John's and Crook.
