In the next academic year, students in Key Stages 4 and 5 will be able to apply to take part in the prestigious Duke of Edinburgh Awards (DofE) and work towards achieving Bronze.

The DofE award, which was launched by HRH Prince Philip in 1956, is well respected by universities and employers alike, so it is an excellent addition to any CV. The awards are designed to empower young people and support them as they learn news kills and build confidence and resilience. There are four sections to complete; Volunteering, Physical, Skills, and Expedition, which involves an overnight camping and orienteering trip.
