Year 9s create newsletter in taster sessions

As part of our Year 9 taster session programme, students have worked together in Media Studies to produce a valentine themed newsletter.
The newsletter is a compilation of short articles written by pupils in the group. The newsletter contains pieces on the history of Valentines Day, movie reviews, interesting facts and ideas for family activities for the half term holiday.
Year 9 taster sessions give students the chance to experience the subjects from which they will be able to choose on options evening. Groups rotate each half term to a new subject.
After February half term, the new Media group will create a newsletter with an Easter theme.
